Welcome to the School of Urban and Regional Planning. Since 1970, our two-year Master of Planning (M.PL.) program has been educating future Professional Planners. Our rigorous and well-focused curriculum, offered in a stimulating and collegial learning environment, allows our students to develop the knowledge and skills they require to become leaders in the planning field and to meet the challenges of a rapidly evolving urban environment. Our graduates have been highly successful in a wide range of public and private-sector planning positions. The M.PL. degree is recognized by the Canadian Institute of Planners, and is a key stage toward earning the Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation.
