    Abstract
The lifesize crucifix (in Sta. Caterina, Florence) is made from painted wood, with a loincloth made of fabric dipped in gesso and iron nails. Lisner attributes this work, with its refined, classicizing torso, either to the late Benedetto da Maiano or to Baccio da Montelupo.
