    Abstract
This painted and gilded stucco relief of the Madonna and Child adored by angels is attributed to the young Luca della Robbia in c. 1430. A bronze version of the composition survives in the Ashmolean Museum. Such images of the Madonna and Child were made for domestic devotion and could be reproduced using molds. The painted tabernacle that frames the circular relief dates from slightly later, c. 1445. This work is currently housed in the Casa Museo di Rodolfo Siviero in Florence.
