    Abstract
Smart Growth criteria developed by the APA is used to evaluate three methods of zoning. Zoning models were developed as they would relate to an existing neighbourhood in order to limit bias. The zoning methods considered are: the existing Euclidean zoning, Form Based Code via the SmartCode developed by DPZ, and hybrid zoning via Elliot's principles for Improved Hybrid Euclidean Zoning.
