dc.description.abstractThis report investigates the relationships between street life and the characteristics of street environments in two commercial areas in Vancouver. The physical attributes of each study area were systematically assessed, and considered with respect to observations of social and leisure activities. The outcome of this research provides recommendations for how each study area can be made more conducive to street life.en_US
