This poster details the results of a 2018 USSRF exploring transferable workplace skills development via experiential learning opportunities. The poster provides a brief overview of the project, its results, and an example of an experiential learning opportunity which teaches transferable workplace skills (along with how it teaches these skills and relates to course learning objectives) in a first-year art history course. This project is the second part of a longer-term study titled Addressing Workplace Skills in the Classroom: A Model for Arts and Sciences’ Specializations, and builds on work begun during the 2017 USSRFs.
